Distribution. Tanzania, Kenya (Sjöstedt 1909), Uganda (Eades & Otte 2012).
Recorded for Kilimanjaro by Sjöstedt (1909) from the northern slopes.
Habitat. Savanna bushland at Mt Kilimanjaro.
Song. Continuous sequence of syllables, produced only at night from bushes of 1–2 m height. Clearly audible from a distance of 10– 15 m.
Altitudinal range at Mt Kilimanjaro: 900–1000 m.
