Austroleptis penai Nagatomi & Nagatomi, 1987: 153–155 (head, figs. 11–12; mouthparts, fig. 13). Type material: holotype, female (CNC); paratype, 1 female (CNC). Type locality: Chile: Puerto Cisnes , Aysén.

Material examined. 1 ♀ ( Figs 58–60 ), Chile, Chiloé Island , 11 km SE Chonchi, on road to Queilen, B.R. Stuckenberg, 08.xii.1987, Forest slopes near ocean (NMSA-DIP 155046) .

Distribution. Chile: La Araucanía Region: Cautín Province (Lago Villarrica, Los Coigües); Los Lagos Region: Osorno Province (Parque Nacional Puyehue, Termas Aguas Calientes), Chiloé Province (11 km SE Chonchi, on road to Queilen); Aysén Region: Aysén Province (Puerto Cisnes) ( Figs 73, 78 ).
