LITERATURE. — Dowsett (1993); Portier (2002c); Connor (2010); Dowsett et al. (2013).
FIELD DATA. — GBIF.
STATUS. — Resident?
REMARK. — Very few field observations. Usually treated as conspecific with L. fasciatus (Shaw, 1812) , now considered the species inhabiting the Guinean-Congo forests of Central Africa (del Hoyo & Collar 2014).
