Aculus cytisi Labanowski , in Soika & Labanowski 2000

Type host and locality. Cytisus × praecox ( Fabaceae ), 'Hollandia' Bean, Poland.

Distribution. England (recorded here) and Poland (op. cit.).

Relation to the host. Vagrant on the foliage, causing no apparent damage.

Collection details. England, North Yorkshire, Nunnington (54° 12ʹ 16.2ʺ N, 0° 58ʹ 51.6ʺ W), high numbers on Cytisus scoparius (L.) Link, collected by R. Hammon, 26.vi.2009.

Additional remarks. Cytisus scoparius is a new host record for this species.
