Original material: Herb. Linn. No. 954.10? ( LINN) ; Herb. Burser XV(1): 4? ( UPS) ; Herb. Linn. No. 954.9? ( LINN) .

Current name: Hieracium × floribundum Wimm. & Grab. ( Asteraceae ).

Note: Sheets 954.9 and 954.10 (LINN) bear specimens belonging to more than one taxon, a situation which led Pugsley (in J. Linn. Soc., Bot. 54: 320. 1948) to reject the name as a nomen confusum. However, no formal proposal for rejection has been made.
