TYPE LOCALITY: " Saint-Domingue " (probably Haiti) .
DISTRIBUTION: Hispaniola, La Gonave Island, not recorded from La Tortue island.
STATUS: IUCN - Rare.
SYNONYMS: hylaeum, spelaeum.
COMMENTS: Includes hylaeum as a separate subspecies (Anderson, 1965).
