Type Locality: Ethiopia, Webi Dau, Boran County.
Vernacular Names: Somali Bushbaby.
Distribution: Between Tana River ( Kenya) and Webi Shebele River ( Somalia), to Lake Turkana and Ethiopian rift lakes.
Conservation: CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Lower Risk (nt).
Discussion: G. senegalensis species group. Recognized as a species by Nash et al. (1989) and by Groves (1989, 2001 c).
