Collection and habitat data.
Specimens of Lacconotus punctatus from New Brunswick were captured in Lindgren funnel traps deployed in an old silver maple forest, an old red oak forest, and a 110-year-old red spruce forest. Adults were captured during May and June. Larvae of Lacconotus occur under bark of conifers and deciduous trees ( Lawrence 1991).
