Type locality. Morocco: “Marocco, ♀ Type Coll. m. ( Plateau de Oukaimeden 2500m, V.1953, leg. Teunissen)“ .

Holotype, ♀: Maroc Oukaimeden 29.5.1913 alt. 2500m Teunissen // ♀ Type Hedychridium Ab. marteni ssp. ruborum Lins. Linsenmaier det. 1959 // 53 // NML _ENT GBIF _Chr0008714 (ex type-collection).

Remarks. Linsenmaier labelled a male specimen in the type-collection as the allotype, bearing the following labels: Maroc 17.6.84 H. Atl. 2500m Oukaimeden leg. Linsenmaier // ♂ Allotype Hedychridium marteni Lins. ssp.

ruborum Lins. det. Linsenmaier 1984. It cannot be considered as a type because it was collected after the original description which was based on a single specimen, holotype by monotypy.
