Type locality. Morocco: “Marocco, ♀ Type Coll. de Beaumont, ♀ Paratype Coll. m. (Tafraout V.1947, leg. de Beaumont)”.

Remarks. Linsenmaier (1987: 141) elevated Hedychridium incrassatum subaheneum to species rank and provided a few more details on its morphological description.
