Type host. Scapteromys aquaticus Thomas (Mammalia: Cricetidae ).

Site of infection. Small intestine and caeca.

Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Berisso, Balneario Bagliardi. Holotype: MLP 2194. Paratypes: MLP 2187, MLP 2213, MLP 2220, MLP 2230, MLP 2232 (20 specimens). Reference. Sutton & Lunaschi (1994).
