Type host. Lagostomus maximus (Desmarest) (Mammalia: Chinchillidae ).

Site of infection. Stomach, small intestine

Locality: Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Berazategui, Estación de Cría de Animales Salvajes ( ECAS) (the host came from Argetina, Mendoza Province).

Holotype: 3 MLP 1183/1. Paratypes: MLP 1183/2 (allotype Ƥ), MLP 1183/3 (233, 2ƤƤ).

Remarks. Paratypes (13, 1Ƥ) deposited in the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, Paris, France.
