Host. Phyllotis sp. ( Ph. xanthopygus (Waterhouse) or Ph. osilae Allen ) (Mammalia: Cricetidae ).

Site of infection. Intestine.

Type locality. Argentina, Catamarca Province, Andalgalá , confluence Mina and Caudado rivers (27º23ʹS, 66º15ʹW).

Holotype: 3 MLP 4627/1. Paratypes: MLP 4627/2 (allotype Ƥ) (cited as MLP 4627/1a), MLP 4627/3 (633, 4ƤƤ) (cited as MLP 4627/1b).
