Type host. Guira guira (Gmelin) (Aves: Cuculidae ).

Site of infection. Intestine.

Type locality. Argentina, Formosa Province, Pirané, Estancia La Marcela (26 ° 17 ʹ 35 ”S; 59 °06ʹ 67 ”W). Holotype: 3 MLP 5945. Paratypes: MLP 5946 (allotype Ƥ); MLP 5947-5950 (2 33; 2 ƤƤ). Reference. Lunaschi & Drago (2010 a).
