Description of female terminalia. Posterior margin of T5 elliptical, brown with golden microtrichosity ( Figs 54– 56 View FIGURES 51–56 ). T6 divided and with the posterior margin separated, brown, with golden microtrichosity and a row of setae near posterior margin ( Figs 51, 54 View FIGURES 51–56 ). Spiracle 6 located on the intersegmentary membrane, spiracle 7 located on T6. T8 absent ( Fig. 51 View FIGURES 51–56 ). Epiproct a single short plate, covered with long and fine setae. Cercus covered with long and fine setae. Hypoproct wider than long, covered with long and fine setae ( Fig. 52 View FIGURES 51–56 ). ST6 wider than long, with posterior margin widened, covered with setulae and with robust setae near posterior margin. ST7 conical, without setulae or setae. ST8 reduced, covered with setulae ( Fig. 51 View FIGURES 51–56 ). Spermathecae rounded, with furrows on apical surface ( Fig. 53 View FIGURES 51–56 ).
Material examined. BRAZIL. Amazonas: Coari, Porto Urucu, on rotting beef lung bait, leg. M.C. Esposito (1 ♂, MPEG) ; Manaus, Reserva Ducke, XII.2005, on rotting beef lung bait, leg. J. Pena (1 ♂, MPEG). Mato Grosso: Sinop , X.1975, leg. Alvarenga & Roppa (3 ♀♀, MNRJ) . Pará: Jari, Área 14 [= Site 14], 20.XII.2006, rotting beef lung bait, leg. T. Gardner (4 ♂♂, MPEG) .
Distribution in Brazil. Amazonas, Mato Grosso, Pará *, Pernambuco, São Paulo.
Remarks. This species was collected in primary forests of the Brazilian Amazon by Sousa et al. (2011).
