Remarks
This is one of the species listed by Nordenstam (1933) as a member of ‘ Microarcturus ’. Examination of reliably identified material in Museum Victoria ( J23435 View Materials ) and the South African Museum ( A16151 View Materials , A16152 View Materials ) confirms Brandt’s placement in Fissarcturus . The specimens illustrated by Stephensen (1947) are not this species and were described by Wägele (1991) as a new species, F. stephenseni .
