Material. One ovigerous female, 3 subadult females, 1 subadult male with developing pleopods; station 283; ZMH: K 41945 View Materials .

Remarks. The type locality of Eocuma sarsi is the coastal area of the Red Sea. The description of Eocuma sarsi given by Kossmann (1880) for a male and Calman (1904) for an immature female from the Gulf of Manaar fit very well the specimens from the inner Gulf of Aden. Calman stressed the « general shape and the thick clumsy form of the lateral cornua ». In the present specimens the hind part of the carapace is as wide as the part with the horns, but it is more slender in the specimens from Kossman and Calman. This difference may be due to difference in age. However, the carapace structure is the same with circular pits, with a tiny granule in the centre of each.
