Lectotype (designated here):— CHINA. Guangxi: Yangshuo , 1 June 1977, W. Y. Hsing & C. S. Chao 77558 ( NF barcode 17001684!, isolectotypes NF barcodes 17001679!, 17001685!, PE barcode 01512489!).
Nomenclatural notes:—The gathering W. Y. Hsing & C. S. Chao 77558 indicated by the authors as type, consists of 4 specimens kept in NF and PE. The specimen with NF barcode 17001684 is better preserved than the other 3 specimens, hence is here designated as the lectotype.
Taxonomic notes:—This species is currently accepted in the Flora of China ( Xia & Stapleton 2006) as Bonia saxatilis var. solida (Chu & Chao) Li (2000: 40) .
