The photograph published in the protologue is considered part of the original material and is designated here as a lectotype ( Quehl 1910). A specimen deposited in the US herbarium (2767373!) consists of a duplicate of the original photograph mounted on the sheet. The label indicates it was designated as a lectotype by A. Zimmerman, but it was not published. Here, we formalize this proposal.
