DISTRIBUTION. China (Shaanxi, Hunan, Shandong, Guangxi); Korea (Gu et al., 2018) .
NOTES. This species was firstly recorded from Yang County by Lu et al. (2018). The type specimen of Turanogryllus melasinotus Li et Zheng, 1998 from Yang County is conspecific with T. eous Bey-Bienko, 1956 described from Qingdao (Shandong province). Therefore a new synonymy is established here.
