Material examined — GEORGIA, Kvirila River , 42.34° N, 43.5703° E, 600 m asl., 21 Jun. 2013, leg. Shubitidze & Nozadze, 1♀ (sequenced; voucher ID: CCDB 41822 View Materials C12), dissected and slide mounted ( RMNH) GoogleMaps .

Remarks — The specimen from Georgia molecularly analyzed in this study match the description of H. angustipalpis , and falls in BIN ( BOLD: AEO 4004) which also includes specimens from northeastern Iran (see Pešić et al. 2023b). New for the fauna of Georgia.

Habitat in Georgia — Medium-sized river with pebbles and sand on the bottom.
