In the first part of the studies on the epithelium of the lens, the work was carried out on fingerlings of rainbow trout ( Oncorhynchus mykiss ) with an average weight of 12 g and an average length of 9.2 cm. Fish, 10 specimens, was placed in aquariums with a volume of 30 liters, with continuously aerated water; a complete change of water and solutions of pollutants was carried out after two days. The fingerlings were fed with Coppens vital universal granular Danish food (granule size 1.2-1.5 mm). The composition of the feed is presented ( Table 1).
