2. Phyllotrella planidorsalis Gorochov, 1988

Phyllotrella planidorsalis Gorochov, 1988: 18 ; 2002: 334; Yin & Liu, 1995: 113; Liu & Shi, 2013: 72.

Type material. Holotype ♂: Vietnam: prov. Vinh Phu , Tam Dao, 900 m, 9–14.X.1979, leg. Yu. Zaitsev ( ZIAS).

Disscussion. Yin & Liu (1995) identified one species belonging to the genus Phyllotrella collected from Hainan province, viz P. planidorsalis Gorochov, 1988 . They illustrated the phallus, which differed from the illustrations of holotype. In fact, Yin & Liu’s two illustrations are very similar to P. hainanensis sp. nov. collected from the same locality (Hainan), and this species is widely distributed in Hainan. At the same time, this species recorded by Liu & Shi (2013) in Guangxi is also a mistake, and should belong to another new species of this genus (viz. P. transversa sp. nov.). Therefore, P. planidorsalis Gorochov, 1988 is excluded from Chinese fauna.

Distribution. Vietnam (Vinh Phu).
