Distribution: Brazil: Paraná.
New record for the Paraná State.
Comments: This is the first record of the species since its original description. The species is mostly green coloured, with a tricolour stripe band (red-white-red) on the pronotal carinae.
Bioacoustics ( Fig. 11A, B View FIGURE 11 ): Males stridulate at night, with echemes in a crescendo of intensity. The syllables are grouped in pairs, and sound is produced only in the closing stroke (hemisyllables).
Dominant frequency: 14.2 ± 0.005 kHz.
Bandwidth: 1.1 ± 0.02 kHz.
Duration: Echeme: 17.4 ± 10.7 s; Syllable: 0.003 ± 0.0004 s.
Mute interval: Syllable: 0.16 ± 0.003 s; Pair of syllables: 1.5 ± 0.3 s.
