Diagnosis: Body medium-sized; colour brownish testaceous; fastigium of vertex above with a continous median carina extending along the head and pronotum; antennae ensiform, as long as the head and pronotum together; pronotum with a rudimentary carina on each side between median and lateral carinae; tegmina and wings longer than abdomen; wings fusco-hyaline, infumated towards extremity; subgenital plate of male acute at apex.

Distribution: India: Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Goa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal. Elsewhere: Bangladesh, East Nepal, Hainan Island, Myanmar, South China, South and North Malacca, Yunnan.
