Distribution: Neotropical ( Cuba, Ecuador).

Records in Ecuador: Zamora Chinchipe ( San Francisco Biological Reserve ) and Loja (andean mountain region of the Loja valley and Podocarpus National Park-Cajanuma).

Habitat: Litter and soil from Graffenrieda emarginata . Soil and litter of alder ( Alnus acuminata ). Litterbags of Clusia spp. Graffenieda emarginata and Hediosmum sp.
