Distribution: East Central Africa (frequent), Ecuador.
Records in Ecuador: Zamora Chinchipe ( San Francisco Biological Reserve and Podocarpus National Park-Bombuscaro) and Loja (andean mountain region of the Loja valley).
Habitat: Abandoned pasture soil. Soil and litter of pine ( Pinus patula ) and degraded forest. Litterbags of Puteria sp., Cavendishia zamorensis , Mollinedia sp. , Graffenrieda emarginata and Clusia spp.
