Distribution: Ecuador.
Records in Ecuador: Zamora Chinchipe ( San Francisco Biological Reserve and Podocarpus National Park-Bombuscaro) and Loja (andean mountain region of the Loja valley and Podocarpus National Park-Cajanuma).
Habitat: Upper organic soil layer in mostly undisturbed rain forest. Soil and litter of pine ( Pinus patula ). Litterbags of Puteria sp., Cavendishia zamorensis , Mollinedia sp. , Graffenrieda emarginata , Clusia spp. and Hediosmum sp.
