Distribution: Pantropical and Palearctic ( Japan and Poland).
Records in Ecuador: Pichincha ( 4 km E Santo Domingo ) , Zamora Chinchipe (Podocarpus National Park-Bombuscaro), Napo (45 km N from Puyo, CIPCA ( Centro de Investigación , Posgrado y Conservación de la Amazonía )), Pastaza (Puyo) and Loja (andean mountain region of the Loja valley).
Habitat: Rain forest litter. Litter fermentation layer. Agricultural ecosystem: banana cultivation. Urban ecosystem, green belt near Megaldaz shop.
