Distribution: Northern of Neotropical, India and Caucasus.

Records in Ecuador: Zamora Chinchipe ( San Francisco Biological Reserve and Podocarpus National Park-Bombuscaro) and Loja (Podocarpus National Park-Cajanuma).

Habitat: Leaf litter and soil. Litterbags of Clusia spp. Graffenieda emarginata and Hediosmum sp.
