Figs 1A–D View FIGURES 1 , IJ, 2A, D–H, 3A–E.

Diagnosis. Resembling P. tagalicus externally but markings on mesonotum and forewings different; mesoscutum marked with dark fuscous, forewing dark brown with inverted U-shaped lemon yellow marking at wing base, one arm of U along costal margin and the other along claval commissure, both arms tapering distally. Male segment X longer than wide, anal collar process long. Style apex with one tooth on ventral margin. Aedeagal shaft sinuate in lateral view with processes about half as long as shaft, apex of shaft hooked distal part narrowed.

Description. Head, pronotum mesoscutellum, thoracic and abdominal pleurites and sternites, legs lemon yellow; one round spot near each eye visible in dorsal and facial view black, mesoscutum marked with dark fuscous. Eyes grayish brown with lateral areas black. Forewing dark brown with inverted U-shaped lemon yellow marking at wing base, one arm of U along costal margin and the other along claval commissure, both arms tapering distally. Setae on metathoracic legs reddish brown, claws piceous. Female similar in coloration to male but pronotum and mesonotum extensively marked with fuscous, ovipositor black.

Crown about 3.5× as wide between eyes as medially long. Pronotum about 2.8× as wide as long medially. Posterior margin of female sternite VII, convex ( Fig. 2 A View FIGURES 2 ).

Male genitalia. Apodemes on anterior margin of pygofer well-developed, posterodorsal angle acute. Subgenital plate shorter than pygofer, with marginal long setae in distal half, upper surface in proximal half with short setae. Segment X longer than wide, anal collar process long. Style with rows of narrow setae in distal half, ventral margin serration restricted to basal half, apex with digitate process. Connective rather Y-shaped with arms very short, stem broad, with median keel-like apodeme in distal half, posterior margin bilobed. Aedeagus with dorsal apodeme about 0.25 as long as shaft and stout; shaft broad at base but rest slender, sinuate with apex hooked, processes slender, subapical and directed basad, about half as long as shaft; gonopore preapical on ventral surface.

Female genitalia. Valvula II with apex bluntly rounded, dorsal teeth not well-developed, distant in basal region and close together in distal region giving the margin a crenulate appearance ( Fig. 2H View FIGURES 2 ).

Measurements. Male and female 4.3–4.6 mm long, 1.4–1.6 mm wide across eyes and 1.3 mm wide across posterolateral angels of pronotum.

Material examined. HOLOTYPE ♁, INDIA: Andaman & Nicobar: North Andaman , Diglipur, 13 o 14′53.9″ N, 92 o 58′37.5″ E, 15mts, 23.iv.2014, Ex Bamboo, Yeshwanth, H.M. ( UASB) GoogleMaps . PARATYPES, 7♀, same data as in holotype except Nabagram, 13 o 09′35.2″ N 92 o 57′02.7″ E, 28mts, 28.iv.2014, Sweep, Yeshwanth, H.M. ( UASB, BMNH, NCBS) GoogleMaps .

Etymology. The species name refers to the name of the island in where it was collected.

Remarks. This species has unique forewing coloration. It has similar male genitalia as in the type species, P. tagalicus but differs in having a more acute dorsoposterior angle of the pygofer, a much longer and straighter process of the anal collar and shorter aedeagal shaft processes compared to those in P. tagalicus . The apex of the style apophysis has a short digitate apical process which is absent in P. tagalicus .
