Distribution: INDIA: Arunachal Pradesh-Lower Subansiri; Assam, Manipur, West Bengal. Elsewhere: Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal.

Habit and Habitat: Freshwater. Inhabits slow moving rivers with sandy bottom.

Remarks: New record for the district.
