Description (5 males and 3 females measured). Habitus as in Fig. 94 View FIGURES 94–95 . On average, body larger (length 9.0– 10.5 mm, mean 10.0 mm), elytra relatively wider and shorter (EL/EW 1.43–1.54, mean 1.47, and EL/PL 2.59–2.80, mean 2.77), pronotum in central portion very finely punctate or almost impunctate, elytral preapical sinuation ( Fig. 96 View FIGURES 96–97 ) in most specimens slightly shallower and internal sac of aedeagus ( Fig. 100 View FIGURES 98–105 ) without distinct curved spiny patch in apical portion near apical spine.

Distribution ( Fig. 106 View FIGURE 106 ). The nominotypical subspecies is known from northwestern Yunnan ( China), where it occurs at altitudes of 1400–2130 m.
