Batrisiella subalpicola Nomura, 2003: 171 View in CoL . Type locality: Sichuan, China
Material examined. Paratypes: 1 3, 1 Ƥ, both bear the following labels: ‘Sewurong Yidui (3,300 m) / Dichishan Mts. Kangding X. / [Sichuan, China] // China: Sichuan Prov, Kangding Xian, Sewurongyidui (in Chinese) / 27.ix.1996, S. Nomura leg. // PARATYE / Batrisiella subalpicola / Nomura, 2003 ’.
Remarks. This species is distinctive in the group by the lack of setiferous patches lateral to the median excavation of tergite IV. It may be closely related to B. satoi by the highly similar form of the aedeagus. The two species may be readily distinguished by the different structure of the median excavation of tergite IV in the male.
Distribution. Southwest China (Sichuan).
