Diagnosis. The female of this species can be distinguished from all other congeneric species by having the caudal part of the abdomen extend beyond the spinnerets; the latter are placed at the anterior third of the abdomen. The male of this species can be distinguished from all other congeneric species by having the median apophysis with two dorsal spurs close to each other and by the wide and flattened terminal apophysis. Description. Female (based on one of HNU-Hu_ 060901): Total length 5.65. Prosoma 1.65 long, 1.40 wide; ophisthosoma 4.25 long, 2.75 wide. Carapace piriform, longer than wide, narrow in eye region, covered with white seta, yellowish brown in cephalic region and around fovea, thoracic region with radial yellow patches, cervical groove deep, cephalic region slightly elevated, fovea transverse, depressed ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 9 – 10 ). Eye sizes and interdistances: ALE 0.09, PLE 0.09, AME 0.10, PME 0.11; AME-AME 0.11, AME-ALE 0.28, PME-PME 0.14, PME-PLE 0.31, MOA 0.30 long with front width 0.28 and back width 0.31. Clypeus height 0.10. Sternum cordate, yellow; chelicerae yellowish brow, with four promarginal and three retromarginal teeth; gnathocoxae and labium yellowish brown. Legs yellowish brown with inconspicuous annuli, leg measurements: I 5.90 (2.00, 2.15, 1.20, 0.55), II 4.80 (1.55, 1.75, 1.00, 0.50), III 2.90 (1.00, 1.00, 0.50, 0.40), IV 4.05 (1.35, 1.40, 0.85, 0.45), leg formula: I, II, IV, III. Ophisthosoma longer than wide, globular anteriorly and pointed posteriorly, posterior end far beyond the spinnerets, dorsum with a pale folium and grayish brown margins ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 9 – 10 ). Venter grayish brown. Epigynum triangular, scape rimmed ( Figs 11–13 View FIGURES 11 – 16 ); copulatory ducts long, curved ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 11 – 16 ); spermathecae oval ( Figs 11–13 View FIGURES 11 – 16 ).

Male (based HNU-Tang-05-11): Total length 2.90. Prosoma 1.65 long, 1.25 wide; ophisthosoma 1.45 long, 1.25 wide. Coloration as in female ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 9 – 10 ). Eye sizes and interdistances: ALE 0.09, PLE 0.09, AME 0.10, PME 0.10; AME-AME 0.10, AME-ALE 0.21, PME-PME 0.13, PME-PLE 0.26, MOA 0.28 long with front width 0.28 and back width 0.29. Leg measurements: I 5.10 (1.60, 1.90, 1.10, 0.50), II 4.10 (1.30, 1.40, 0.95, 0.45), III 2.50 (0.85, 0.85, 0.45, 0.35), IV 3.55 (1.20, 1.20, 0.80, 0.35), leg formula: I, II, IV, III. Pedipalp with small paracymbium ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 11 – 16 ); median apophysis wide, with two compact dorsal spurs ( Figs 14–16 View FIGURES 11 – 16 ); conductor broad, wrapping the tip of embolus ( Figs 14–15 View FIGURES 11 – 16 ); embolus slender ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 11 – 16 ); terminal apophysis wide, lamellar ( Figs 14–15 View FIGURES 11 – 16 ).

Variation. Females, total length 3.90–5.70; males, total length 2.90–3.90.
