Remarks. Because in Mallada (1892) the type material of Anisoria vidali ( Mallada, 1892) was mentioned without description or illustration, the information regarding skeletal elements of the holotype were taken from Vidal (1917) and Bataller (1937a), both authors of which provided proper documentation of the type material. The skeletal structures of the holotype of Anisoria batalleri Reig Oriol, 1987 , from the Maastrichtian of northern Spain closely correspond to all of the features of Anisoria vidali . Therefore, the two species are interpreted to be synonymous.

Distribution. Campanian-Maastrichtian of Spain.
