One syntype is deposited in NMPC (general collection):

SYNTYPE (J): ‘Ič. [p] / 3912 [hw] // TYPUS [p, red label] // Pachycnema / Dekindti / Type Nonfr. [hw]’.

Current status. Araeohoplia dekindti ( Nonfried, 1895) , see ARROW (1906).

Remark. The species was described from an unknown number of specimens collected in ‘Huilla, Angola’ ( NONFRIED 1895). Although this specimen does not bear any locality label, it is labelled as a type.
