Two syntypes are deposited in NMPC (ex coll. J. Hlisnikowski):

SYNTYPES (2 unsexed specimens): ‘E. Reitter jr./ Troppau [p] // vend. Reitter jr.[p] / aureola fla- / vicollis Reitt.Type! [hw] // Reitter type [p] / aureola var. / flavicollis [hw, red label] // Sibirien [p] / Amur [hw]’.

Current status. Junior subjective synonym of Hoplia (Euchromoplia) aureola (Pallas, 1781) , see, e.g., DALLA TORRE (1913), MEDVEDEV (1952), SMETANA (2006).
