A genus of three species, one of which has been found in Ecuador ( Fig. 44 View FIGURE 44 ). See Garrison (2014) for identification. Adults are active in light rainfall. Habitat is small streams at various elevations.

Oxystigma petiolatum (Selys, 1862) . Publ. Recs. ECU: (H14—as Oxystigma sp. A: SU, Shushufindi: * Garrison (2014 – 1 ♂, Shushufindi pipeline, near oil pipeline, 3.5 km NW of Shushufindi, small stream at edge of forest – fly- ing in light rain (-0.1661, -76.6919, 295m), 16 i 2011, leg. DLW, WAH, R. Vargus, det. RWG [WAH]). Also BRA, GUF, SUR, VEN: Garrison (2014).
