Stigmaeus kelkitensis sp. nov.

Holotype. Female ( Figure 22 View FIGURE 22 ). Length of body 325 (300–335), width 195 (190–210).

Dorsum. All dorsal shields with reticulum. Propodosomal shield with triangular shaped. Shield with four pairs of setae. Eyes and post-ocular bodies present. Apodemal marking absent. Central shield with two pairs of setae.

Posterior margin of central shield slightly pointed. Setae e 1 placed on median zonal shields and setae e 2 located on lateral zonal shields. Setae d 2 located on marginal shields. Intercalary shield divided, with setae f 1. Suranal shield entire, with two pairs of setae. All dorsal setae flagelliform except sci, shorter than others. Dimensions of setae as follows: vi 85 (80–90); ve 130 (128–135); sci 30 (25–35); sce 140 (135–145); c 1 130 (128–135); c 2 113 (110–120); d 1 120 (115–123); d 2 135 (128–135); e 1 175 (170–180); e 2 160 (158–168); f 1 165 (170–178); h 1 125 (120–125); h 2 120 (115–118). Distances between setae: vi-vi 35 (30–40); ve-ve 70 (68–72); vi-ve 35 (30–38); sci-sci 140 (135– 142); sce-sce 170 (168–175); sci-sce 20 (20–25); c 1 -c 1 125 (116–130); c 1 -d 1 65 (60–70); d 1 -d 1 70 (60–75); e 1 -e 1 48 (40–50); f 1 -f 1 103 (100–110); h 1 -h 1 35 (35–40); h 2 -h 2 70 (66–75); h 1 -h 2 20 (18–20). Setae ve and c 2 are the longest setae on dorsum. Setae ve is almost four times longer than sci.

Venter. Coxisternal shields separated, bearing three pairs of setae. Aggenital shield with three pairs of setae. Genital and pseudanal covers contiguous bearing one pair of genital and three pairs of pseudanal setae. Dimensions of setae as follows: ag 1 8 (5–8); ag 2 10 (8–10); ag 3 8 (8–10), g 1 10 (10–12); ps 1 35 (33–38); ps 2 30 (30–33); ps 3 12 (12–15). Ornamentation on ventral shields is the same as dorsum.

Legs. Leg I 175 (165–190), leg II 155 (150–165), leg III 145 (138–150), leg IV 150 (145–155). Chaetotaxy of leg segments as follows: coxae 2–2–2–2, trochanters 1–1–2–1, femora 6–5–3–2, genua 3(κ)–3(κ)–0–0, tibiae 7(ϕ,ϕρ)–6(ϕρ)–6(ϕρ)–6(ϕρ), tarsi 14(ω)–10(ω)–8(ω)–8(ω). Genua I and II with solenidion κ.

Gnathosoma . Palp 85 (80–100), chelicera 115 (100–125). Subcapitulum with two pairs of adoral setae distally and two pairs of subcapitular setae proximally. Dimension of setae: m 8 (8–10); n 12 (10–15), distances between setae: m-m 18 (15–20); n-n 25 (20–25).

Male and other immature stages. Unknown.

Type materials. Holotype Ƥ and 12 paratype ƤƤ from litter under Quercus sp., 40°21'18'' N, 37°27'49'' E, 579 m, between Reşadiye-Koyulhisar, 30 III 2008; 1 paratype Ƥ from litter under Quercus sp., 40°25'46'' N, 37°07'45'' E, 485 m, between Reşadiye-Niksar, 30 V 2008; 3 paratype ƤƤ from litter under Juniperus sp., 40°15'75'' N, 38°50'28'' E, 5914 m, Çamoluk, 23 IV 2009; ZMAU.

Etymology. This species is named after the research area in which it was found.

Remarks. The new species resembles Stigmaeus nikitensis Kuznetsov, 1978 in the shape of the dorsal setae, dorsal ornamentation and the leg chaetotaxy. It can be distinguished from S. nikitensis by: setae sce located on propodosomal shield, sci placed in front of sce, and the posterior margin of the central shield slightly pointed. In S. nikitensis , sce are located on auxiliary shields, sci are lateral to sce, and the posterior margin of the central shield is smooth.
