Hatschekia pygmaea (T. Scott, 1913)

Hatschekia pygmaea was found on the gills of Symphodus tinca .

In the Mediterranean, it was previously collected from S. tinca in Italy ( Brian 1906) and Tunisia ( Essafi et al. 1984; Benmansour & Ben Hassine 1997), on Labrus viridis , S. cinereus , S. mediterraneus and S. tinca ( Raibaut et al. 1998) . In the Adriatic, this species was found on Labrus merula , S. mediterraneus , S. melops , S. rostratus and S. tinca ( Radujkovic & Raibaut 1989) .
