Distribution.

Brazil (PR, SC), Costa Rica, Paraguay; all known records are from rainforest sites.

Biology.

Solitary, reared from unidentified Hesperiinae feeding on Poaceae in Costa Rica (no ACG) (Deans et a. 2003).

DNA barcoding.

Two partial barcodes (164 and 234 bp).
