Type Locality: Panama, Cylindro.
Vernacular Names: Enders' Small-eared Shrew.
Distribution: Highlands of W Panama.
Conservation: IUCN – Endangered.
Discussion: Choate (1970) recognized this taxon as a relict species known only from the type locality. In 1980, a second specimen was collected 70 km further east ( Pine et al., 2002).
