Species recognition. This species is most similar to D. hexaseta , but differs most obviously by the straight ventral margin of the hind femur ( Figs 21–22) and the short, non-projecting hind coxal lobe.

Distribution. Caribbean: Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico.
