Formotosena montivaga, Boulard, 2001 d: 128 , 129, 135– 137, mountainous zone separating the districts of Chiang Maï and Lampang.

Formotosena montivaga, Boulard, 2002 b: 199 , northern mountains of Thailand.

Taxonomy: Boulard (2001 d) reassigned the species to Formotosena Kato from Tosena Amyot and Serville. Distribution: India and China (Metcalf, 1963 a), and Thailand.
