Taxonomy: Boulard (2005 e) transferred this species to Megapomponia when the genus was described.
Notes: The specimens of P. adusta ( Walker, 1850) from the Malay Peninsula and possibly Java and Sumatra (Metcalf, 1963 b) probably represent records of M. pendleburyi ( Boulard, 2005 e).
