Body Size: Medium to large. 38–39 mm (male), 40–43 mm (female).

Head: in dorsal view, almost triangular, slightly longer in midline than wide about 1:0.6; shorter than pronotum in length about 1:1.2, head slightly narrower than pronotum about 1:1.2, median length of fastigium 2 times longer than width, fastigium nearly as long as vertex in length; compound eyes spherical, prominent. in lateral view, fastigium with ventral carina, strongly elongate, usually acute at the tip; notch between fastigium and frons deep, distance between opening shorter than depth about 1:1.4, basal process strongly produced, apical process slightly produced; in anterior view, lateral margins of frons parallel, slightly divergent apically; maximum width of face greater than width at level of eye about 1:0.8.

Thorax: Pronotum with lateral carinae obtuse; in lateral view, dorsal margin straight, ventral margin slightly curved upward in the middle, height at the level of curved part shorter than median length about 1:1.5, with a marked invagination and small expansion at the posterior margin; in dorsal view, narrower anteriorly, slightly convergent towards head. Prosternum with a pair of spines; hind femur with spines ventrally, slightly more than two times longer than mid femur. Tegmina cover abdomen, and in female cover ovipositor, rounded at the tip; male stridulatory file of the left tegmen strongly narrowing from base towards apex and relatively narrower apically, with narrow, moderately thick teeth present; male mirror of the right tegmen oval, slightly acute apically, with a small stridulatory file on the base.

Genitalia: Ovipositor curved and thick, broadening as far as middle, shorter than hind femur about 1:1.2. Cerci broaden and flattened with apex inwardly curved, basal process well developed. Anal tergite rather concave with straight styli, not projecting beyond cerci.

Coloration: Body in dorsal view, green or brown. Head in dorsal view, green or brown; in lateral view, green or brown; without postocular stripe; in anterior view, face yellowish green; mandible yellow; clypeus and labrum concolorous, yellowish green. Antenna yellow in color. Pronotum in dorsal view, prozona and metazona concolor- ous, green or brown; in lateral view, green or brown. Fore and middle legs concolorous, yellowish green or brown. Hind leg with femora green or brown, femoral flange green or brown. Hind tibiae green or brown; spines brown. Tegmina transparent with greenish or brownish areas. Abdomen in dorsal view, yellowish green or brown.
