Distribution: Allopatric south and east African populations: Angola, Botswana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, Namibia, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe.

Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
