Measurements. Male 8.3 mm long, 2.0 mm wide across eyes and 2.5 mm wide across posterolateral angles of pronotum.
Material examined. INDIA: Sikkim: 1 ♂, Singtam, 27.iv.1975, C.A. Viraktamath Coll. ( UASB) .
Remarks. This species is deep fuscous with numerous, small ochraceous markings on the elytra and prominent ochraceous spots on the middle of the costa. The aedeagus has six prominent, subapical teeth on the dorsal surface and a long, subapical process with several teeth apically ( Figs. 37 View FIGURES 37 A–B). Photographs of the male pygofer and aedeagus of the holotype male (California Academy of Sciences, U.S.A.) were examined. They are identical with the specimen illustrated here. Nielson (1982) over looked the presence of caudoventral processes and wrote “Pygofer in lateral aspect without caudoventral or caudodorsal processes”. However, in the ventral view caudoventral processes are very evident. This species was overlooked in the revision of the tribe by Nielson (2015).
