Remarks. No specimens of this species were examined. Distant (1908) described this species based on specimens collected from Assam and Nilgiri Hills. Nielson (1982) adequately described and illustrated the species. This species is similar to O. indica but differs in being deeply piceous with a broad flavous longitudinal band at the basal half of the costa of the forewing and by the aedeagus with a long subapical spine that extends beyond the shaft midlength ( Figs. 34 View FIGURES 34 L–M).
